**Job title**
Configuration Management Engineer – Cigéo Project (M/F)
**Role Summary**
Lead configuration management for the Cigéo high‑ and intermediate‑activity waste storage project. Coordinate all configuration activities, interface with stakeholders, maintain baselines, and drive digital transformation across PLM, BIM, and requirements tools.
**Expectations**
- Proven experience in configuration management on industrial projects (energy, transport, infrastructure, aerospace, or defense).
- Strong understanding of configuration control processes, baselines, and release management.
- Familiarity with digital platforms (PLM, BIM, requirements management).
- Ability to educate and influence multidisciplinary teams.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage the full configuration control lifecycle, collaborating daily with system architects, work‑package leads, contract managers, external design and construction partners.
- Oversee a portfolio of change requests: analyze impacts, coordinate approvals, and ensure timely implementation.
- Structure and maintain configuration data and documentation; record revisions in PLM and update baseline status for major project milestones.
- Prepare and chair Configuration Control Board meetings; document minutes and track action items.
- Partner with system architects and external vendors to identify, document, and integrate configuration items into the project’s V‑cycle, interface registry, and IV&V framework.
- Lead the end‑to‑end development of configuration tooling across the Cigéo digital ecosystem (PLM, BIM, requirements, simulation tools).
- Author and maintain configuration management plans, procedures, and guidance documents; keep the reference model current.
- Conduct training sessions and support capacity building on configuration methods and tools.
- Represent the organization in professional networks to advance best practices and align with international standards.
