**Job Title** Healthcare Data Analyst **Role Summary** Analyze and transform complex healthcare data to support decision‑making, business growth, and regulatory compliance. Build and maintain analytical systems, develop ETL pipelines, create predictive models, and produce insightful reports for internal and external stakeholders while safeguarding PHI under HIPAA. **Expectations** - Deliver high‑quality analytics within established turnaround times. - Prioritize and manage multiple high‑complexity tasks in a fast‑paced environment. - Collaborate cross‑functionally, communicate findings professionally, and act as a trusted advisor. - Maintain strict confidentiality of proprietary or sensitive information. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, implement, and maintain advanced analytics platforms and ETL workflows. - Develop analytic frameworks and predictive models for complex healthcare data sets. - Conduct trend analysis, opportunity identification, and performance reporting. - Perform geographic and disruption analyses to support sales and new business development. - Analyze client proposals, claims data, and legal/government requests for insight and improvement. - Create and present visualized reports to leadership and external clients. - Train and mentor junior analysts on analytical techniques and tool usage. **Required Skills** - Proficiency in data mining, statistical analysis, and data visualization tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Tableau, Power BI). - Experience building and optimizing ETL processes. - Strong problem‑solving, decision‑making, and analytical thinking. - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and handling PHI. - Effective communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑management skills. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Healthcare Informatics, Finance, Economics, or related field *or* equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years related experience). - 2–5 years of data mining experience, preferably in a healthcare setting. - Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Certified Analytics Professional, SAS Certified Data Scientist, or healthcare‑specific credentials) preferred.
