Job Description
Job Title: Global Information Technology Director Role Summary: Lead and manage all global IT functions, ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable systems that support the company’s services. Drive strategic IT planning, infrastructure execution, and process improvement while collaborating with senior management, business units, and external stakeholders. Expectations: * Deliver a technology roadmap aligned with corporate objectives and operating within a 6‑18 month horizon. * Maintain continuous availability and security of IT systems across all regions. * Demonstrate autonomous decision‑making that impacts regional or national operations. Key Responsibilities: * Provide day‑to‑day leadership of the IT organization and cultivate an accountable, results‑driven culture. * Develop and execute IT infrastructure strategy, including networks, cloud, development, disaster recovery, and business continuity. * Lead and supervise a cross‑functional IT team and coordinate with vendors, advisors, and other business units. * Prepare and manage budgets, capital projects, and financial reports related to IT spend. * Implement and maintain IT policies, procedures, assurance audits, and corporate security protocols. * Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and market opportunities to enhance service delivery. * Foster strong internal client relationships and external vendor partnerships. * Ensure compliance with safety, ethics, and anti‑corruption policies. Required Skills: * 10+ years of progressive IT leadership, preferably in a public company environment. * Deep knowledge of networking, cloud computing, and infrastructure management. * Proficiency in development environments, programming, and IT project management. * Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management abilities. * Experience with financial systems and consolidated reporting is desired. * Familiarity with MS SQL, ETL tools, and integration is an asset; experience with Microsoft Great Plains is also an asset. Required Education & Certifications: * Post‑secondary degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). * Basic SAET Training (or per corporate matrix). * Completion of Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, Anti‑Corruption Training, and other required corporate training.
