Job Description: Job title: Warehouse Team Leader – AM Shift Role Summary: Lead and manage daily warehouse operations during AM shift, ensuring efficient distribution, compliance with safety and company policies, and team performance in a high‑volume footwear distribution centre. Expectations: - Maintain punctuality and a positive working attitude as a role model. - Achieve operational targets and improve process efficiency. - Report progress, issues, and key achievements to the Shift Controller/Operations Manager. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise and coordinate activities of warehouse operatives within the AM shift. - Oversee distribution processes, ensuring accurate picking, packing, and loading. - Enforce company policies, standard operating procedures, and health & safety requirements. - Train, coach, and develop team members to meet performance and quality standards. - Maintain inventory accuracy and report discrepancies. - Communicate effectively with other departments to resolve operational issues. Required Skills: - Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. - Excellent organisational and planning abilities. - Detail‑oriented with a focus on accuracy and safety. - Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities. - Good problem‑solving and decision‑making skills. Required Education & Certifications: - Minimum of a secondary school qualification or equivalent. - Relevant experience in warehouse or logistics operations preferred. - Valid forklift or plant operator licence is an advantage but not mandatory.
