Job Description
Job Title: Sales Development Representative (Inbound) – Internship Role Summary: Acts as the first touchpoint for new event organizers in France, converting inbound interest into active partnerships, delivering product demos, qualifying prospects, onboarding users, and ensuring their first event launch is successful. Expactations: - Quickly respond to inbound demo requests, maintaining a professional tone. - Deliver consistent, structured demos and qualify organizer potential. - Guide self‑signup users through initial setup and first event launch. - Keep CRM data clean, accurate, and up‑to‑date. - Provide market insights and maintain awareness of local music and nightlife trends. Key Responsibilities: - Manage inbound leads, triage and schedule demos. - Qualify organizer fit (event type, ambition, budget, platform fit). - Transfer qualified opportunities to Account Executives. - Identify and engage self‑signup users, driving activation and first‑launch success. - Educate organizers on platform features, pricing, and best practices. - Optimize event pages and ensure users understand platform use. - Monitor local music ecosystem, identify promising collectives, and share insights with internal teams. Required Skills: - Prior experience in sales, business development, customer‑facing roles, or event organization (internship or student role acceptable). - Comfortable conducting professional video calls and demos. - Clear, confident communication in French and English. - Structured, organized, reliable approach to work. - Basic understanding of business logic (conversion, pricing, margins, growth). - Familiarity with CRM processes and pipeline management. - Connected to the music/nightlife/cultural scene with insight into promoter thinking. Required Education & Certifications: - Current university student or recent graduate (any discipline). - No formal certifications required; relevant coursework or certifications in sales, marketing, or event management is a plus.
