Job Description
**Job Title** Manager – Operational Resilience / Third‑Party Risk Management (TPRM) – Financial Services **Role Summary** Lead and expand the Operational Resilience and Supply‑Chain Risk Management practice for a financial‑services consultancy. Report to the Director, Head of Resilience and Supply Chain, and independently drive client engagements, deliver project outcomes, and mentor junior staff while supporting practice growth. **Expectations** - Minimum 4 years of management‑consulting experience in FS with a focus on operational resilience or third‑party risk, **or** 4 years of in‑house FS experience managing supply‑chain/TPRM risk. - Proven ability to manage project teams and deliver results with limited oversight. - Demonstrated expertise in relevant regulatory frameworks (PRA, FCA, etc.). - Ability to contribute to practice development and business development initiatives. **Key Responsibilities** - Lead end‑to‑end operational resilience engagements: impact tolerance identification, business‑service mapping, scenario testing, governance, monitoring and reporting. - Design, implement, and mature third‑party risk management frameworks for financial institutions. - Manage client stakeholder relationships, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and business objectives. - Supervise and develop junior consultants, providing coaching and performance feedback. - Contribute to practice growth: develop service offerings, support sales pursuits, and mentor new hires. - Produce high‑quality deliverables, presentations, and executive briefings. **Required Skills** - Deep knowledge of operational resilience concepts and frameworks. - Strong expertise in third‑party risk/supply‑chain risk management within financial services. - Project management competence (planning, budgeting, risk tracking). - Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and quantitative skills. - Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities, both written and verbal. - Ability to work autonomously and drive outcomes in a fast‑changing environment. - Familiarity with PRA/FCA resilience regulations and industry best practices. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, Engineering, or related field (required). - Relevant professional certifications preferred (e.g., CISA, CRISC, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, PMP, PRINCE2). - Additional regulatory or risk‑management training a plus.
