Job Description

**Job Title:** Software Engineer (Frontend) **Role Summary:** Frontend-focused engineer responsible for building and scaling the company’s first Next.js/React applications, establishing a reusable component library, and ensuring high‑quality, maintainable code in a fast‑moving startup environment. **Expectations:** - Minimum 3 years of professional experience delivering production‑grade React applications. - Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with senior engineers, product owners, and backend teams. - Strong communication, ownership, and problem‑solving skills. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop new Next.js/React frontend applications from scratch, adhering to software quality standards. - Create and maintain a reusable component library/design system with comprehensive documentation. - Define and enforce frontend best practices, coding standards, and engineering guidelines. - Collaborate with backend engineers and solution architects on API contracts, data models, and integration patterns. - Provide accurate effort estimates, communicate trade‑offs/risks, and deliver iteratively with clear milestones. - Champion developer experience by optimizing local workflows, tooling, templates, and onboarding resources. **Required Skills:** - React (3+ years) and Next.js (App Router, Server Components, SSR/SSG/ISR, API Routes, middleware). - State‑management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand, Recoil). - Frontend tooling: ESLint, Prettier, Husky/lint‑staged, GitHub Actions CI/CD, feature flags, release automation. - API integration and consumption. - Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work cross‑functionally. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
