**Job Title:** Actuarial Intern P&C - Fall 2025/Spring 2026 **Role Summary:** Support actuarial staff by assisting with basic actuarial tasks and insurance-related projects, gaining hands-on experience in data analysis, automation, and reporting. **Expectations:** Part-time (15-20 hours/week) internship during the 2025/2026 academic year. 80% core project work, 10% cross-divisional learning, 10% company-wide cultural programs. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop rate-level and rating factor revisions for annual business rate changes. - Automate and validate rating factors, actuarial processes, reports, and exhibits. - Analyze competitor pricing, coverage, and market data using internal tools and SQL/Excel. - Profile data, create reports, and map competitive pricing insights. - Learn database structures and apply analytical tools to actuarial problems. **Required Skills:** - Proficiency in Excel and SQL. Basic experience with VBA, R, or Python preferred. - Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Familiarity with actuarial principles and statistical software. - Effective written and verbal communication. - Organizational and time-management capabilities. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Pursuing a degree in data analytics, actuarial science, or related field. - Completion of actuarial exams preferred, not required. - U.S. work authorization (no sponsorship available).
