**Job title**: Quality Assurance Engineer
**Role Summary**:
Execute comprehensive test plans for web and mobile applications, develop and maintain automation frameworks, document defects, verify fixes, and collaborate with development teams to ensure high‑quality releases.
**Expectations**:
- Deliver 4+ years of professional QA or development experience.
- Proactively communicate risks and blockers.
- Meet scheduled QA milestones and defect resolution SLAs.
- Provide clear, actionable defect reporting and verification.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Design, develop, and run automated test scripts for web and mobile platforms.
- Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks (Selenium, Appium, etc.).
- Author detailed test plans, test cases, and requirements reviews.
- Identify, isolate, reproduce defects, produce concise bug reports, and validate fixes.
- Assess risk impact of test findings and communicate with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to prioritize and resolve QA issues.
- Plan, schedule, and execute QA activities; integrate testing with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins).
- Conduct API, database, and integration tests; validate JSON, XML, and REST services.
**Required Skills**:
- Strong programming in object‑oriented languages (JavaScript preferred).
- Expertise with Selenium WebDriver, Appium, Protractor, Mocha, Jasmine, TestNG.
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, XML, JSON, REST APIs, and modern front‑end frameworks (Vue.js, React, Angular).
- Experience testing iOS/Android mobile apps.
- Familiarity with databases, SQL, and backend systems.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins).
- Excellent problem‑solving, debugging, and root‑cause analysis.
- Clear written and verbal communication, documentation skills.
**Required Education & Certifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- QA certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
