Technical Consultant – ServiceNow Developer (Sr. Manager)
Role Summary
Senior ServiceNow developer and technical lead tasked with designing, customizing, and integrating ServiceNow solutions across enterprise environments. Responsibilities include automation framework development, multi‑cloud (AWS) integration, automated testing, and governance of the ServiceNow update set lifecycle across multiple instances.

• Deliver high‑quality ServiceNow enhancements and integrations that meet business requirements and security standards
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow applications, modules, and workflows using Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and Scripted REST APIs.
- Create and maintain forms, UI policies, business rules, and scripting (client‑side and server‑side).
- Build and maintain automation frameworks to streamline repetitive tasks; develop orchestrated workflows for cross‑platform processes.
- Integrate ServiceNow with external systems via REST/SOAP, web services, MID Servers, and AWS services (Lambda, Step Functions, EC2, S3, RDS).
- Implement security best practices for AWS and ServiceNow integration: encryption, access controls, compliance checks, and vulnerability remediation.
- Develop automated test scripts and regression test suites to validate customizations and ensure application stability.
- Manage ServiceNow update sets: create, preview, migrate, and resolve conflicts across environments; enforce governance and migration standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide status updates, estimate effort, and deliver solutions on time.
- Lead or mentor technical teams, ensuring adherence to ServiceNow coding standards and community guidelines.
Required Skills
- 8–10 years ServiceNow development experience with 3–4 years in a technical lead or customer‑facing consulting role.
- Deep knowledge of ServiceNow modules: ITSM, ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, GRC/IRM, Vulnerability Response, Security Incident Response, Advanced Risk, Service Portal.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs, HTML, CSS, and scripting for UI and server logic.
- Strong experience with REST/SOAP integrations, MID Servers, CMDB, Discovery, and Flow Designer/IntegrationHub.
- Hands‑on expertise integrating ServiceNow with AWS services (Lambda, Step Functions, EC2, S3, RDS, security controls).
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and regression testing in ServiceNow.
- Familiarity with Agile development, JIRA or equivalent RTM, and estimation techniques.
- Expertise in ServiceNow update set management, scoped applications, AppRepo, and governance practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently or in team settings.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) and ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or equivalent certifications.
- Additional relevant AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are advantageous.
