**Job Title**
IT/Systems Information PMO Consultant – Water Sector
**Role Summary**
Provide expert assistance to public clients (municipalities, water authorities, public utilities) in the design, implementation, and evolution of information systems that support water cycle management. Act as a project manager, technical analyst, and change leader to ensure solutions meet operational, performance, and regulatory requirements.
**Expectations**
- Deliver end‑to‑end project outcomes for water management Digital initiatives.
- Ensure alignment with regulatory mandates, operational goals, and performance KPIs.
- Facilitate stakeholder collaboration and drive adoption of new systems.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Gather and analyze business needs for water cycle functions (telemetry, supervision, asset management, GIS, CMMS, etc.).
- Develop project charters, specifications, tenders, and vendor bid analyses.
- Lead project execution using V‑model, Agile, or hybrid methodologies.
- Coordinate internal and external parties (publishers, integrators, operators, business services).
- Support solution deployment: integration, testing, and change management.
- Monitor project performance, produce status reports, and advise on continuous improvements.
- Contribute to public water service digitalization strategy, including DSPs, direct agencies, and SEMOP.
**Required Skills**
- 7+ years in IT/Systems consulting, project management, or PMO role, preferably in water or public services.
- Deep understanding of potable water and wastewater management challenges.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (V‑model, Agile).
- Knowledge of domain‑specific systems: GIS, CMMS, SCADA, industry ERP.
- Strong analytical, synthesis, and independent decision‑making abilities.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and initiative.
- Experience with DSPs, public procurement, or local authority projects is a plus.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Process Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related).
- Professional certifications in project management (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) preferred.
