**Job Title:** Business Development Representative **Role Summary:** Motivated, results‑driven professional responsible for generating and qualifying new business opportunities for Boosted.ai’s AI‑powered financial SaaS platform. Operates in a hybrid Toronto office (3 days onsite) to prospect, qualify, and handoff sales‑ready leads to Account Executives, supporting the full sales cycle in the asset‑management, wealth‑management, and banking sectors. **Expectations:** - Achieve monthly/quarterly Sales Qualified Lead (SQL) quotas. - Respond to 100 % of inbound leads and outbound prospect replies by end of business day. - Maintain accurate CRM data and provide regular pipeline and competitive updates. - Work three days per week on‑site in Toronto; remaining days remote. **Key Responsibilities:** - Master Boosted.ai product, value proposition, and sales process. - Research and identify target prospects across financial services verticals; curate call lists and execute outreach campaigns. - Conduct discovery calls with portfolio managers and financial executives to uncover technology needs and present use‑case value. - Qualify inbound and outbound opportunities, document them in CRM, and schedule meetings for Account Executives. - Track and report on lead activity, deal status, and competitive insights; contribute to GTM process improvements. - Support Sales/Account Executives with data, workflow analysis, and internal collaboration. **Required Skills:** - Proven prospecting and lead‑generation experience in SaaS or financial‑technology sales. - Strong communication and presentation abilities, with confidence engaging senior financial professionals. - Ability to research markets, understand complex investment workflows, and articulate technical value. - Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales enablement tools. - High self‑motivation, entrepreneurial mindset, and ability to meet aggressive targets. - Excellent organizational and time‑management skills; detail‑oriented record‑keeping. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). - No specific certifications required; SaaS sales or financial‑services familiarity is preferred.
