**Job title**
DevOps Engineer
**Role Summary**
Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of cloud-native, containerised infrastructures using InfrastructureโasโCode approaches. Conduct Windows and Linux system administration in production environments, enforce DevOps and SecOps best practices, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling.
**Expactations**
* Build and optimise reliable, secure, and scalable Kubernetesโbased environments.
* Deliver automated, repeatable deployment processes for cloud and onโpremise systems.
* Collaborate directly with development, operations, and security teams to ensure bestโpractice implementation.
* Proactively maintain and enhance existing systems and tools, ensuring operational stability and security compliance.
* Create and maintain RESTโAPI integrations and custom automation scripts to streamline workflows.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Deploy and configure infrastructure with IaC (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
* Administer Windows and Linux servers in demanding production settings.
* Implement and enforce DevOps and SecOps practices across projects.
* Automate deployments and operations using tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, PowerShell, and Python.
* Design, build, and refine CI/CD pipelines and associated tooling.
* Develop and maintain scripts or components for API interaction and process automation.
* Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply security patches.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of systems, processes, and documentation.
**Required Skills**
* Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration
* Windows and Linux system administration
* InfrastructureโasโCode frameworks (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
* Configuration management (Ansible, Chef, or similar)
* Scripting languages: PowerShell, Python
* CI/CD pipeline design and implementation (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.)
* RESTโAPI fundamentals and automation
* Strong problemโsolving skills and collaborative mindset
**Required Education & Certifications**
* Bachelorโs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
* Relevant DevOps/Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, or similar) are highly desirable.
