Job Description
Job title: Laboratory Maintenance Service Technician Role Summary: Provide high‑level preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and qualification support for laboratory instrumentation at client sites. Ensure equipment reliability, laboratory efficiency, and user satisfaction while adhering to QHSE protocols and client communication standards. Expectations: - 2‑5 years of higher education in science or equivalent experience. - Continuous learning mindset. - Professional English (read, write, speak). - Intermediate MS Office proficiency. - Ability to travel and manage own schedule. Key Responsibilities: 1. Perform preventive maintenance, fault diagnostics, and qualification of instruments (HPLC/GC, centrifuges, dissolution systems, temperature & humidity probes, PSM hoods, etc.). 2. Follow QHSE rules and standard operating protocols; complete interventions within deadlines and quality standards. 3. Communicate clearly with clients throughout every intervention phase. 4. Provide on‑site technical training to users on instrument operation and safety. 5. Organize travel and work schedule to maximize client coverage and response times. Required Skills: - Technical knowledge of laboratory equipment (instrumentation, automation, electronics, chemistry/bio). - Troubleshooting and problem‑solving in a laboratory context. - Strong written and verbal communication in English. - Proficient use of MS Office. - Self‑management, time‑planning, and ability to travel. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor‑level degree or higher in electronics, electrical engineering, automation, chemistry, biology, physics, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. - No mandatory certifications required, but QHSE or instrumentation maintenance certifications are an advantage.
