**Job Title** Information Services Cyber Security Internship – Summer 2026 **Role Summary** Summer internship on the Information Services Cybersecurity team, supporting real‑time security operations, vulnerability management, and user assistance. Hands‑on experience with SIEM alert triage, email threat response, and special projects in a corporate environment. **Expectations** - Enrolled full‑time in an accredited 4‑year college/university. - Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or a closely related field. - Available to work onsite at the corporate headquarters for the full internship period (summer 2026). - Strong interest in cybersecurity and willingness to learn. **Key Responsibilities** - Monitor and triage security alerts from the SIEM to ensure rapid response. - Detect, analyze, and respond to email‑based threats (phishing, business email compromise, credential theft). - Assist with IT/OT vulnerability identification, tracking, and remediation efforts. - Provide cybersecurity guidance and support to internal associates. - Contribute to ad‑hoc special projects as assigned by the team. **Required Skills** - Fundamental understanding of cybersecurity concepts and threat vectors. - Familiarity with SIEM tools, log analysis, and incident response workflows. - Basic knowledge of email security mechanisms and phishing detection. - Ability to follow documented procedures and communicate findings clearly. - Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and teamwork orientation. **Required Education & Certifications** - Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline. - No specific certifications required; relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA Security) are a plus but not mandatory.
