Job Description
Job Title: Supervision Assistant Role Summary Provides student supervision and support during non‑instructional periods, ensuring a safe, orderly environment. Works independently and collaboratively with school staff and students. Expectations - Operate with minimal supervision, following school policies. - Maintain professionalism, patience, and a caring demeanor at all times. - Respond promptly to safety and discipline concerns. Key Responsibilities - Monitor student behavior inside the school and on school grounds. - Ensure students remain in assigned areas during non‑instructional times. - Administer first aid and prescribed medication to students as directed by the Principal. - Report safety issues and discipline concerns to the Principal or designated leader. - Foster cooperative relationships among students, staff, and the public. - Distribute activity materials and equipment as needed. - Perform additional student‑supervision duties or emergent tasks as assigned. Required Skills - Excellent verbal and written communication. - Patience, tolerance, and caring attitude toward children. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Diplomatic human‑relations skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders (students, parents, staff). - Ability to support students with special needs. Required Education & Certifications - Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent secondary education. - Minimum six months of experience working with children. - Valid Safety Oriented First Aid Certificate.
