Job Description
**Job Title:** Intern, Risk Coordinator **Role Summary:** Supports risk management activities for major construction projects, applying project procedures and best practices to identify, analyze, and mitigate risks. Collaborates with proposal teams and risk managers to document risks, update risk registers, and contribute to cost/schedule risk analysis. Maintains risk data integrity and leverages lessons learned for future project planning. **Expectations:** Candidate must be enrolled in a Civil Engineering or Construction Management program, with availability for in-office work. Requires strong written and verbal communication, teamwork, and analytical problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in interpreting and presenting data is essential, with initiative to identify project risks and recommend preventive measures. **Key Responsibilities:** Assisting proposal managers in developing risk and opportunity registers during RFPs. Participating in risk workshops to assess project risks and evaluate mitigation strategies. Managing structured metadata for risk information. Supporting data collection for cost and schedule risk analysis. Updating and utilizing a lessons learned database to inform new projects. Collaborating on risk management strategies for proposals under supervision. **Required Skills:** Written and verbal communication, team collaboration, problem-solving, analytical thinking, data interpretation, and data presentation. **Required Education & Certifications:** Enrollment in a degree program in Civil Engineering or Construction Management. No certifications required.
