Job Description
**Job Title:** Business Development Executive **Role Summary:** Drive revenue growth for an energy management consultancy by acquiring new clients, expanding existing accounts, and promoting core and ancillary services. Serve as primary relationship manager, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver tailored energy solutions. **Expectations:** - Meet or exceed sales and revenue targets. - Build and sustain a robust pipeline of qualified leads. - Maintain high client satisfaction and long‑term partnership retention. - Deliver accurate forecasts and market insights to senior leadership. **Key Responsibilities:** - Prospect and generate new business using omni‑channel outreach (cold calls, emails, networking). - Partner with email marketing teams to execute campaign strategies. - Guide prospects through the sales cycle, conduct presentations, and onboard new clients. - Manage relationships with existing customers, identifying upsell and cross‑sell opportunities across the service portfolio. - Collaborate with new‑business development, operations, and executive leadership to align solutions with client needs. - Provide market advice, guidance, and forecasting to external stakeholders. **Required Skills:** - Proven account management experience in the energy/utilities sector. - Strong commercial acumen and ability to develop revenue‑generating strategies. - Excellent written and verbal communication; confident presenter. - Consultative, persuasive sales approach with strong listening skills. - Ability to work under pressure with a proactive, results‑driven attitude. - Advanced numeracy, proficient in Excel and custom business software. - Strong interpersonal skills for internal and external stakeholder management. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Energy Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Energy Management, Utility Sales) preferred but not mandatory.
