Job Description
Job Title: Lead Platform Engineer Role Summary: Lead Platform Engineer to drive platform engineering strategies, optimize system performance, and provide technical leadership in a hybrid role with on-site requirements three days per week. Focus on cloud infrastructure, automation, and observability to support product teams. Expectations: 5+ years in observability, site reliability, or cloud infrastructure; expertise in cloud services, observability tools, and automation; leadership in system performance tuning, DevOps practices, and technical mentorship. Key Responsibilities: Establish system availability/performance objectives and measure progress; translate technical and process needs into platform solutions; serve as a TDD and Agile expert; implement hands-on configuration/development; deliver thought leadership and mentor teams. Required Skills: Strong AWS and Azure cloud experience (CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics); proficiency in Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic stack, or similar observability tools; containerization (Docker, Kubernetes); automation/scripting (Python, Bash, Terraform, Ansible); incident management and root cause analysis; CI/CD pipeline knowledge.
