Job Description
Job Title: Internal Applications Developer Role Summary: Design, develop, and deploy scalable internal tools and open‑source applications that improve productivity for corporate teams. Lead projects from concept to production while collaborating with IT, product, and development teams, and maintain high standards of code quality and documentation. Expectations: - Deliver complete, production‑ready solutions on schedule. - Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and self‑manage task priorities. - Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices relevant to internal tool development. Key Responsibilities: - Build robust, scalable software using Python and/or Go, with frameworks such as Django. - Own end‑to‑end project lifecycle: requirements gathering, architecture design, coding, testing, deployment, and post‑deployment support. - Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams (IT, product management, other developers) to align solutions with business goals. - Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues, leveraging an IT background. - Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and write comprehensive unit tests. - Produce clear technical documentation, including design specifications and user guides. Required Skills: - Proficiency in Python, Ruby, and/or Go. - Experience with multiple programming languages beyond Python, Ruby, and Go. - Strong Linux programming and system integration skills. - Solid understanding of Agile development practices. - Excellent problem‑solving, attention to detail, and communication skills. - Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team setting. - Product management mindset for self‑organization of tasks. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
