Job Description

Job Title: Software Engineer – SRE/DevOps Role Summary: Build, scale, and maintain cloud‑based infrastructure for an AI‑driven platform. Focus on reliability, performance, and developer enablement through automation and infrastructure‑as‑code. Expectations: Deliver production‑grade code, participate in incident response, and drive continuous improvement of tooling and documentation. Work collaboratively across software, ML, security, and customer teams in a fast‑moving environment. Key Responsibilities - Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure cloud infrastructure using SRE best practices. - Implement and manage containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS) and orchestration solutions. - Write infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform, CloudFormation) to automate provisioning and configuration. - Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling to improve release velocity. - Monitor, alert, and troubleshoot distributed systems, performing root‑cause analysis and post‑incident reviews. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (software, ML, perception, security) to support platform initiatives. - Document processes, update onboarding materials, and contribute to internal knowledge bases. Required Skills - 1–3 years of DevOps, SRE, or backend software engineering experience. - Proficient in at least one general‑purpose programming language (Python, Go, Java). - Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS). - Familiarity with major cloud providers (AWS preferred) and cloud concepts. - Working knowledge of infrastructure‑as‑code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation). - Strong communication and collaborative skills. - Growth mindset, curiosity, and ability to thrive in ambiguous environments. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). - (Optional) Certifications in cloud platforms or DevOps (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator) are a plus.
