Job Description
**Job Title** Senior Engineer, Quality Assurance **Role Summary** Lead the design, implementation, and monitoring of quality assurance processes for aircraft maintenance and operations. Oversee audits, investigations, and procedural updates to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards, maintaining airworthiness and mitigating recurrent defects. **Expectations** - Deliver annual audit plans and track audit findings to closure. - Coordinate internal, external, and regulatory audits (e.g., IOSA). - Supervise QA staff and conduct technical investigations and reporting. - Update Level 1–3 procedures and train personnel on safety and quality topics. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop and execute audit programs for CAMO, contracted maintenance, and suppliers. - Maintain surveillance systems for line and base maintenance activities. - Coordinate and prepare for regulatory and third‑party audits. - Draft, revise, and implement Level 1–3 procedures for existing/new aircraft types. - Supervise QA teams (engineers, executives, officers). - Investigate incidents, repetitive defects, and produce investigation reports. - File Mandatory Occurrence Reports and conduct staff training on Human Factors, SMS, Fuel Tank Safety, EWIS, etc. **Required Skills** - Valid AMEL with ATR 72 or B737NG type rating. - Auditing experience in line/base maintenance for ATR 72 and/or B737NG. - Strong interpersonal and conflict‑resolution abilities. - In‑depth knowledge of aviation regulations related to operations, inspection, and maintenance. - Ability to prepare detailed technical reports on maintenance and airworthiness. - Proven multitasking under pressure, with strong attention to detail. - Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, safety and quality focused. **Required Education & Certifications** - Degree or diploma from a recognized higher education institution, or equivalent with 5+ years in an aviation environment. - Valid AMEL (ATR 72 or B737NG). - Completed an acceptable audit course. - Train‑the‑trainer course preferred.
