Job Description

Job Title: Software Engineer in Test Role Summary: Senior Software Engineer in Test (SDET) responsible for designing, developing, and executing automation and manual tests for enterprise applications in the banking domain. Works remotely using own laptop, following PST hours. Focus on quality assurance across the software lifecycle. Expectations: - Work independently and collaboratively in a cross‑functional team. - Utilize personal laptop, adhere to PST schedule, and coordinate with nearshore teammates. - Deliver high‑quality test artifacts and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes. Key Responsibilities: - Design, code, and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium with C#/.NET. - Develop and execute manual test cases for new and legacy banking applications. - Perform API testing, database validation, and integration testing. - Analyze test results, log defects, and track resolutions with development teams. - Review application requirements and design test strategies to meet quality standards. - Mentor junior testers and share knowledge on testing practices and tools. Required Skills: - Minimum 3–5 years in software testing or quality engineering. - Strong experience with Selenium automation. - Proficiency in C# and .NET application testing. - Hands‑on API testing and database (SQL, NoSQL) validation. - Solid manual testing skills and defect management. - Prior experience in the banking or financial services domain. - Ability to work remotely and comply with PST work hours. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience). No specific certifications required.
