Job Description

**Job Title:** Application & Cloud Security Engineer **Role Summary:** Responsible for securing software applications and cloud environments by integrating and managing security tooling, performing vulnerability triage, supporting remediation, and automating security processes within CI/CD pipelines and IaC frameworks. **Expectations:** - Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in application security and/or cloud security. - Ability to work in a hybrid setting (on‑site and remote). - Proficiency with industry‑standard security tools and best‑practice frameworks. **Key Responsibilities:** - Integrate and manage Application Security tools (e.g., Checkmarx, Invicti, SonarQube). - Deploy and operate Cloud Security platforms (e.g., Prisma Cloud, Wiz). - Conduct vulnerability scanning, analysis, and prioritization across applications and cloud resources. - Provide remediation guidance and support to development and operations teams. - Develop and maintain security automation scripts for CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and IaC (Terraform). - Enforce secure coding standards and OWASP Top 10 mitigations. - Apply cloud security frameworks such as Azure CAF and GCP Security Foundations. - Collaborate with DevOps to embed security controls throughout the software development lifecycle. **Required Skills:** - Application security tooling: Checkmarx, Invicti, SonarQube. - Cloud security platforms: Prisma Cloud, Wiz. - Strong knowledge of secure coding practices and OWASP Top 10. - Familiarity with cloud security best practices (Azure CAF, GCP Security Foundations). - Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and Infrastructure‑as‑Code (Terraform). - Ability to analyze, triage, and track vulnerabilities. - Basic scripting/automation (e.g., Python, Bash). **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). - Relevant security certifications preferred (e.g., CISSP, AWS Security Specialty, Certified Cloud Security Professional).
