Job Description
Job Title: Process Engineer Role Summary: Execute and optimize process engineering tasks throughout the Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) phase for global EPCM projects. Develop solutions aligned with client objectives, ensure compliance with industry standards, and deliver on time and within budget. Expactations: • 5–10 years of process engineering experience in the oil & gas or related EPCM sector. • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering. • Registered Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) in Alberta. • Proven EPC project experience, including FEED and tie‑in coordination. • Hands‑on expertise in P&ID change management, pressure‑relieving system calculations (PSV), and tie‑in integration. • Strong collaborative skills with clients and multidisciplinary teams. • Ability to conduct design reviews and support quality assurance processes. • Eligible to work in Canada. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and refine process designs for FEED projects. • Lead P&ID modifications and ensure documentation accuracy. • Calculate PSV sizing and perform tie‑in coordination. • Facilitate cross‑disciplinary collaboration and client interactions. • Participate in design reviews, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. • Manage project deliverables to meet schedule and budget constraints. Required Skills: • Process engineering design & analysis. • P&ID drafting & change management. • PSV calculations and pressure‑relief system design. • Tie‑in coordination and integration. • Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, AutoCAD, SolidWorks). • Strong communication and teamwork abilities. • Attention to detail and commitment to quality. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (or equivalent). • Registered P. Eng. in Alberta (or eligible to obtain). • Valid Canadian work authorization.
