Job Description
**Job Title:** Business Development Representative **Role Summary:** Drive top‑of‑funnel growth for a global energy‑technology provider by prospecting, qualifying leads, and supporting events and campaigns. Serve as the first point of contact for prospects, translate product value into compelling messaging, and collaborate with sales and marketing to convert interest into qualified opportunities. **Expectations:** - Meet or exceed qualified‑opportunity quota for assigned territory. - Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records in CRM. - Represent the company at virtual and in‑person events across multiple regions. - Continuously improve product knowledge and sales skills through mentorship and shadowing. **Key Responsibilities:** - Quickly master Quorum’s software suite and articulate value propositions. - Execute outbound prospecting plans via email, phone, and social media. - Analyze market data to design targeted campaigns for traditional energy and transition markets. - Generate, research, and nurture inbound and outbound leads into qualified opportunities. - Partner with Sales to define outbound campaigns, identify key accounts/personas, and stimulate pipeline. - Update CRM with contact, account, and activity details daily. - Support event awareness and registration across geographies. - Shadow Sales colleagues to acquire skills for future sales roles. - Perform additional duties as assigned. **Required Skills:** - Strong verbal and written communication in English; multilingual ability a plus. - Proven outbound prospecting and lead‑qualification experience (2‑5 years). - Familiarity with consultative sales methodology and objection handling. - Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and outreach tools (experience with Outreach preferred). - Advanced computer skills, especially Microsoft Office. - High resilience: comfortable cold‑calling daily and adapting quickly to change. - Analytical mindset for turning data into actionable campaigns. - Collaborative, proactive, and self‑motivated attitude. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, Energy‑related field, or comparable discipline. - No specific certifications required; relevant sales or industry certifications are a plus.
