**Job title**
Senior .NET Developer
**Role Summary**
Design, develop, and maintain secure, HIPAA‑compliant backend services, RESTful APIs, and front‑end applications in a cloud‑native environment, while leading technical architecture, CI/CD implementation, and mentorship of junior staff.
**Expactations**
- Deliver robust, scalable solutions that adhere to healthcare regulations and data standards.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Product, Clinical, Compliance, QA) to define technical requirements.
- Mentor team members and uphold internal technical standards.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Architect and implement .NET Core/C# backend services, REST APIs, and associated validation logic.
- Develop responsive UIs using React or Angular for patient‑ and care advocate‑facing portals.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, including infrastructure as code (Terraform, Bicep).
- Ensure application security through OAuth 2.0, role‑based access, and OWASP best practices.
- Design data models and interact with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Write unit, integration, and automated UI tests (xUnit, Jest, Moq).
- Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and architecture discussions.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to documentation and coding standards.
**Required Skills**
- .NET Core / C# development (≥5 yrs)
- REST API design and implementation
- Front‑end development with React or Angular (≥3 yrs)
- SQL Server (preferred), PostgreSQL, or MySQL database experience
- Unit testing frameworks (xUnit, Jest, Moq)
- OAuth 2.0 authentication/authorization
- CI/CD tooling (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
- Cloud platforms: Azure or AWS (serverless, functions, queues, managed DB)
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates
- Agile/Scrum methodology
- Knowledge of FHIR, HL7, X12 standards and HIPAA compliance
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Master’s degree or advanced certifications a plus.
- Relevant certifications: Microsoft Azure Developer Associate, AWS DevOps Engineer, or equivalent cloud or software development credentials.
