Job Description: **Job Title** Backend Developer (Python / Linux ecosystem) – French Speaker **Role Summary** Develop and maintain backend services for a cybersecurity platform, integrating AI engines, enhancing APIs, and improving pipeline and database performance. Collaborate with product owners, front‑end, and R&D teams within an agile, BDD‑driven environment. **Expactations** - Minimum 4 years of hands‑on Python development. - Fluent French communication (written and spoken). - Proactive, self‑evaluating attitude with ability to work autonomously. - Strong interest in cybersecurity and continuous improvement. **Key Responsibilities** - Integrate cutting‑edge AI detection engines into existing processing pipelines. - Enhance and extend web APIs (Django/DRF) for front‑end and external clients. - Optimize pipeline and PostgreSQL performance; tune Elasticsearch queries. - Ensure high security standards in code and appliance configuration. - Contribute to architectural reviews, code quality, and shared codebase practices. - Participate actively in agile ceremonies, BDD testing, and code reviews. - Collaborate with product owners, front‑end developers, and R&D on product improvements. **Required Skills** - Python (≥4 years professional experience). - Linux ecosystem proficiency (system administration, scripting). - Django / Django REST Framework. - PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch/Logstash/Kibana. - Docker, Git/GitLab CI/CD. - Familiarity with Go and gRPC is a plus. - Agile development and Behavior‑Driven Development (BDD) methodology. - Strong problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). - No specific certifications required; security‑oriented certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH) are a plus but not mandatory.
