Job Description

**Job Title:** Software Development Engineer (SDE) **Role Summary:** Founding member responsible for defining and executing the technical vision of a generative AI‑driven analytics platform. Combines hands‑on backend development with architectural leadership, builds core microservices, and mentors a growing engineering team. **Expectations:** - Deliver high‑quality, high‑performance code for core backend and infrastructure. - Own end‑to‑end system design, scalability, and reliability. - Act with a founder’s mindset: self‑driven, accountable, and comfortable juggling architecture, coding, and team leadership. - Collaborate cross‑functionally with frontend and algorithm teams to integrate LLM‑based intelligence. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and maintain microservices using Spring Boot 3 with Kotlin/Java. - Design high‑concurrency APIs, task scheduling, and access‑control mechanisms. - Model and optimize PostgreSQL schemas and queries for large‑scale ETL and real‑time analytics. - Implement caching, messaging, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized deployments (Docker/Compose or Podman). - Guide the technical roadmap and architecture evolution. - Recruit, mentor, and shape engineering culture and best practices. **Required Skills:** - Expert proficiency in Kotlin or Java and Spring Boot 3. - Strong experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Linux environments, and containerization. - Proven ability to build distributed, async, high‑concurrency systems. - Hands‑on experience with microservice architecture, API design, and performance tuning. - Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and team‑building capabilities. **Nice‑to‑Have Skills:** - Kafka, Flink, or similar distributed streaming platforms. - Large‑scale data processing or headless web crawling. - AI agent or LLM integration experience. - Prior role as Tech Lead or founding engineer in an early‑stage startup. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
