Job Description
Job Title: Financial Regulatory Business Analyst Role Summary: Provide analytical and coordination support for financial institutions to meet regulatory requirements, optimize compliance costs, and enhance governance across EU/International financial markets and banking operations. Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to design, implement, and test compliance initiatives. Expectations: Deliver actionable compliance assessments, translate regulatory mandates into operational plans, and drive projects through agile environments while ensuring stakeholder alignment and documentation quality. Key Responsibilities - Conduct detailed regulatory compliance assessments and maintain up‑to‑date findings. - Align operational processes and procedures with regulatory expectations. - Serve as liaison between business stakeholders and IT/technical teams. - Analyze business operations, identify issues/opportunities, and recommend solutions. - Translate business requirements into structured documentation. - Support system/process changes by advising stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. - Assist in business user test execution. - Monitor regulatory and market changes affecting the financial sector. - Contribute to internal knowledge development and regulatory‑focused service offerings. Required Skills - 3+ years in regulatory compliance and/or business analysis within financial services. - In‑depth knowledge of EU/International regulations (MIFID, EMIR, ESG, PSD, PSR, FATCA, CRS, IRD, FINREP, COREP, Solvency, Basel, CCD, etc.) and banking operations. - Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical operational plans. - Strong coordination, documentation, and stakeholder management skills. - Fluent in English and either French or Dutch; good understanding of the other language. - Experience in agile project environments is a plus. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Law, Economics, or related field. - Professional certifications such as CBAP, CISA, or regulatory‑specific credentials preferred.
