Job Description: Job title Product Owner Billing Role Summary Senior product owner responsible for designing, building, and evolving a partner‑friendly billing platform within a B2B fintech service ecosystem. Drives product vision, aligns with business strategy, and manages end‑to‑end delivery across cross‑functional engineering teams. Expactations * Own and prioritize the product backlog, defining epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria. * Owns product adoption metrics and ensures a smooth, finance‑oriented user experience. * Owns accountability for delivering high‑impact features on schedule. * Manages dependencies and cross‑team collaboration in a horizontal organization. * Acts as a liaison between finance, UX/UI, engineering, and external stakeholders, translating business needs into technical solutions. * Maintains cultural sensitivity and fosters trust across distributed teams. Key Responsibilities * Develop and own the roadmap for a scalable billing platform integrated into the digital ecosystem. * Manage Agile/Scrum processes: backlog grooming, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and delivery oversight. * Collaborate with other Product Owners and the CX Lead to align CX and billing flows. * Facilitate prototype testing to gather rapid feedback on UI/UX and iterate product features. * Translate business value propositions into platform capabilities and vice versa. * Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies with internal stakeholders and external partners. * Define and monitor key success metrics linked to product adoption and revenue impact. * Ensure billing functionality supports full O2C lifecycle, pricing, and revenue streams. Required Skills * 5–10 years of product ownership or billing management experience in fintech or B2B SaaS. * Fluent in English (advanced speaking and writing); Dutch proficiency preferred. * Deep knowledge of ServiceNow, Jira, Azure DevOps, or Confluence. * Strong grasp of Agile and Scrum frameworks, including backlog management and sprint execution. * Understanding of billing, FinOps, pricing models, and O2C practices. * Proven ability to build financial platforms for partner‑driven B2B environments. * Experience managing cross‑functional teams, coordinating dependencies, and driving stakeholder engagement. * Skilled in presenting value propositions and translating them into modular product components. * Analytical mindset with a problem‑solving orientation and a strong user‑persona focus. * Ability to manage multiple parallel tracks and handle cultural differences. Required Education & Certifications * Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or a related field. * Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent product ownership certification preferred. * Scrum Master certification (CSM or equivalent) an asset.
