Job Title: Pricing Actuary – Contract – Lloyd’s of London Role Summary: Actuarial professional responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining pricing models for Syndicate and MGA portfolios, ensuring alignment with Lloyd’s PMD and regulatory standards, while also contributing to reserving, capital modelling, and business planning. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain pricing models for Syndicate and MGA portfolios. • Ensure models meet Lloyd’s PMD standards and regulatory requirements. • Provide case‑by‑case pricing support for complex or large risks. • Collaborate with underwriting, finance, and senior stakeholders to embed actuarial insight across the business. • Enhance data infrastructure and pricing tools, including management information and rate monitoring systems. • Validate models using historical and scenario‑based data. • Contribute to reserving and capital modelling processes, integrating capital model insights into business decisions. • Support business planning through pricing insights and analysis. • Work cross‑functionally with compliance, risk, and financial teams. • Assist the actuarial team on initiatives as required. Required Skills: • Advanced pricing modelling and actuarial analysis. • Proficiency in Excel, Access, and actuarial modelling software (Remetrica). • Strong communication and stakeholder management. • Project management and independent work ethic. • Detail orientation and accuracy in model building. • Knowledge of Lloyd’s market dynamics and regulatory framework.
