MachineSight is a custom machine integrator (see http://www.machinesight.eu). Mechatronics engineering design office, we develop, modernize or modify customized equipment for the industry. We take charge of the design, integration, realization and validation of the solution at the customer. We can attest to solid expertise in the fields related to mechatronics (mechanics - robotics - vision - automation - artificial intelligence), from basic to advanced and from preliminary analyze to commissioning... We rely as well on a large network to cover all technical fields. Job Description
Job Title: Industrial Vision Engineer Role Summary: Design, develop, and deliver end‑to‑end industrial vision solutions. Responsible for client requirement analysis, feasibility studies, optical setup design, vision algorithm implementation, prototype validation, deployment, and integration of software tools for industrial operation. Expactations: Provide creative, practical solutions that meet stringent industry standards. Adapt quickly to new technologies and client environments. Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and carry out tasks with strong organization and a team‑oriented mindset. Key Responsibilities - Identify client needs and scope project requirements. - Conduct feasibility studies and define system architecture. - Design optical setups for machine vision systems. - Implement and fine‑tune vision algorithms (image processing, machine learning). - Build and test functional prototypes. - Deploy and validate systems on‑site with client supervision. - Collaborate in developing industrial software enabling algorithm exploitation. Required Skills - Proficient in programming (C#, .NET, Java, Python, or comparable languages). - Practical experience with industrial vision, optics, and functional programming. - Familiarity with vision libraries such as HALCON (bonus). - Knowledge of machine or automation industry practices. - Strong analytical, creative, and problem‑solving abilities. - Excellent verbal communication and teamwork. - Good command of French; English proficiency preferred. Required Education & Certifications - Minimum Baccalauréat + 3 years of higher education in engineering, computer science, optics, or electronics (equivalent to Bachelor’s degree). - Master’s degree in applied sciences (optics, electronics, computing) is an advantage. - Relevant certifications in vision technologies or programming languages are desirable.
