Job Description
**Job title:** Senior National Account Manager – Active Nutrition Canada **Role Summary:** Drive sales growth, profitability, and brand expansion for Nutrabolt’s active nutrition portfolio across Canada’s specialty and sport channels. Manage key distributor and banner relationships, develop strategic account plans, and collaborate cross‑functionally to launch campaigns, pricing, and merchandising initiatives. **Expectations:** - Achieve and exceed sales targets and key account profitability. - Build and maintain strong insights into market trends and customer needs. - Deliver a customer‑centric experience that builds long‑term trust and loyalty. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage current business base and develop new category volume within existing accounts. - Own new business development nationwide, including identification of growth opportunities and execution of new account plans. - Produce accurate sales reporting, forecasting, and trend analysis using data dashboards. - Create and maintain account budgets, conduct regular business reviews, and adjust strategies to meet quarterly goals. - Coordinate promotional calendars, pricing submissions, and program deductions, ensuring alignment with marketing and product launches. - Negotiate trade terms, rebates, and merchandising solutions (shelf schematics, POP, signage) to maximize brand visibility. - Collaborate with Demand Planning to refine working forecasts, manage inventory flow, and minimize stock‑outs. - Engage in weekly on‑site visits to key clients to reinforce relationships and capture in‑market insights. - Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to co‑create new product opportunities and channel programs. **Required Skills:** - Proven experience (≥5 years) in specialty channel account management for health, nutrition or related categories. - Strong analytical skills: ability to interpret forecast data, sales trends, seasonality, and out‑of‑stock metrics. - Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities. - Relationship building across all levels of buyer, replenishment, and senior management. - Proficiency in CRM, BI tools, and Excel for reporting and forecasting. - Familiarity with sports nutrition or performance‑focused brands a plus. - Willingness to travel regularly to client sites. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Business, Marketing, or related field. - Professional certifications (e.g., Certified Sales Professional) preferred but not mandatory.
