Job Description: **Job Title:** Supply Chain/Sales Analyst Intern **Role Summary:** An entry‑level analyst role focused on integrating demand and supply planning activities. The intern will support forecasting, production planning, and inventory management while utilizing statistical tools and SAP APO/ECC. The position requires collaboration across Operations, Sales, and Customer Service to improve supply‑chain efficiency and deliver executable plans. **Expectations:** - Complete a summer internship program (approximately 12–16 weeks). - Attend formal and informal training on forecasting, SAP, Excel, Power BI, and data warehousing. - Deliver a final presentation summarizing learnings and project outcomes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Generate item‑level forecasts using sales data, trend analysis, and statistical techniques. - Assist with expediting production or inventory receipts to meet urgent customer demands. - Adjust production and fulfillment plans when forecasts or manufacturing schedules change. - Act as a liaison among Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Project Management, and Sales teams to communicate issues and resolve bottlenecks. - Develop advanced inventory, demand, and supply planning models and tools. - Produce ad‑hoc reports from large data sets using Excel and Power BI. - Participate in supply‑chain improvement projects and monitor key performance metrics. - Utilize SAP APO/ECC for tracking and reporting. **Required Skills:** - Proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis). - Basic knowledge of SAP APO/ECC or similar ERP systems. - Competence with Power BI or equivalent data visualization tools. - Strong analytical and statistical reasoning abilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Self‑motivated, able to work independently and prioritize tasks. - Quick learner, adaptable to changing priorities. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program (minimum junior year) with a focus on Supply Chain Management, Statistics/Mathematics, Business Administration, Engineering, or Finance. - No additional certifications required but familiarity with supply‑chain analytics tools is a plus.
