Job Description
**Job Title:** IT Intern (Business Intelligence) **Role Summary:** Data‑driven internship supporting the Business Intelligence and analytics team. Assist in integrating enterprise data, building Power BI visualizations, and automating data workflows across ERP, QMS, and PLM systems. **Expactations:** - Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program (BI, Data Science, IS, CS, or related) with ≥ 3.0 GPA. - Eligible for security clearance. - Ability to work full‑time or part‑time on a seasonal basis. - Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and effective communication with non‑technical stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities:** - Support data integration and analysis across ERP, QMS, and PLM platforms. - Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and KPIs for business users. - Use Power Query, DAX, and Power Platform (e.g., Power Automate) to cleanse, transform, and automate data processes. - Assist in designing and maintaining data models in MSSQL and data‑warehouse environments. - Perform data quality checks, enrichment, and preparation for reporting. - Gather requirements from various departments and translate them into visual analytics. **Required Skills:** - Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite. - Familiarity with Power BI and basic data‑visualization concepts. - Understanding of relational databases; SQL (preferably MSSQL). - Exposure to Power Query, Power Platform, or other low‑code/no‑code tools. - Basic knowledge of one or more programming/development languages. - Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities. - Effective written and verbal communication for technical and non‑technical audiences. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Intelligence, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. - No specific certifications required; coursework or projects involving BI tools, SQL, or data modeling are advantageous.
