**Job Title:** Consultant – Manufacturing Scheduling
**Role Summary:**
Seasoned SAP consultant specializing in Production Planning (PP), Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS), and Available-to-Promise (ATP) who will lead end‑to‑end project cycles, design and configure component availability processes, and integrate scheduling solutions across SAP APO, MM, and SD modules.
**Expectations:**
- Minimum 10 years of hands‑on experience in SAP PP/PP‑DS and ATP implementations.
- Proven delivery of multiple full‑life‑cycle projects (blueprint, design, configuration, testing, rollout, support).
- Ability to advise on, configure, and optimize component availability/ATP and its integration with APO, MM, and SD.
- Familiarity with external scheduling tools and modern integration approaches (APIs, event‑driven architecture).
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct requirement analysis and blueprinting for PP, PP‑DS, and ATP processes.
- Configure SAP PP/PP‑DS components, ATP customizations, and integration points with APO, MM, and SD.
- Lead system design, configuration, testing, cut‑over, and hypercare activities for manufacturing scheduling projects.
- Interface with customers to translate business needs into technical solutions and provide expert guidance.
- Evaluate, recommend, and integrate third‑party scheduling tools (e.g., DELMIA Ortems, Pelico) where applicable.
- Develop and implement modern integration patterns (REST/SOAP APIs, EDA) to connect SAP with external systems.
- Produce documentation, training materials, and knowledge transfer for client teams.
**Required Skills:**
- Deep expertise in SAP PP, PP‑DS, and ATP customization.
- Strong knowledge of SAP APO PP/DS, MM, and SD integration.
- Experience with scheduling software (DELMIA Ortems, Pelico, or similar) – a plus.
- Proficiency in API design, REST/SOAP services, and event‑driven integration (Kafka, MQTT, etc.) – a plus.
- Full project‑cycle experience (design, configuration, testing, deployment, support).
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and mentor junior consultants.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related field.
- SAP certification(s) in Production Planning (PP) and/or Advanced Planning & Optimization (APO/PP‑DS) preferred.
- Additional certifications in integration technologies or scheduling tools are advantageous.
