Job Description
**Job Title**: Cloud Engineer **Role Summary** Maintain and optimize the hybrid infrastructure powering the organization’s operations. Deliver hands‑on support for on‑prem and cloud environments, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. Collaborate with senior engineers, internal teams, and vendors to troubleshoot incidents, manage updates, and enhance automation. **Expactations** - Operate on a 24/7 support rotation, handling critical incidents and outages. - Provide Tier‑2 escalation for complex technical issues. - Document processes and update infrastructure knowledge bases. - Participate in continuous improvement of automation, IaC, and CI/CD pipelines. **Key Responsibilities** - Administer servers (Windows & Linux), SAN, VMware, Wi‑Fi, switches, firewalls, NAC, and endpoints. - Manage AWS, Azure, Cloudflare, and SaaS applications. - Govern Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Copilot). - Support identity and access tools (Active Directory, DNS, SSO, certificates). - Monitor alerts, apply patches, remediate vulnerabilities. - Maintain Terraform modules, troubleshoot IaC errors. - Provide operational support for Kubernetes clusters (EKS preferred). - Assist with CI/CD pipeline operations and automation. - Use GitHub for version control of infrastructure scripts. - Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve technical issues and deliver projects. **Required Skills** - Proficiency with VMware, SAN storage, VLANs, firewalls, routing. - Hands‑on experience in AWS and Azure/Entra environments. - Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred). - Knowledge of Kubernetes and EKS. - Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and pipeline management. - Basic GitHub version control skills. - Strong understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, and certificate management. - Experience administering Microsoft 365 services. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field **or** 3–5 years of experience in cloud/IT infrastructure or systems engineering. - Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or equivalent are preferred.
