Lead and develop the optical team, manage dispensing activities, and act as a brand ambassador for Cubitts, promoting eye health knowledge and bespoke services. **Expectations:** - Align with company values (Pioneer, Proud, For All) and promote an inclusive culture. - Demonstrate 1‑2 years of optical management experience, including team building and recruitment. - Show strong initiative, positivity, patience, and excellent communication skills. - Maintain high organization, attention to detail, and a keen aesthetic sense. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist Store Manager in daily store operations and customer service excellence. - Coordinate with HQ departments to ensure seamless store functioning. - Oversee all dispensing activities and guide the team’s optical learning and progression. - Educate customers on eye health, prescription terminology, lens features, and Cubitts frames. - Lead training on Cubitts Bespoke services and support product launches. - Conduct weekly trade calls and monthly meetings to set focuses and goals. - Enforce company procedures for inventory and asset protection. - Provide ongoing training and development for all team members. **Required Skills:** - Optical retail management (1‑2 years). - Team leadership, coaching, and recruitment. - Strong verbal and written communication. - Customer‑focused service with in‑depth product knowledge. - Ability to explain technical eye‑health information clearly. - Organizational and detail‑oriented with an eye for aesthetics. - Initiative, positivity, and resilience in a fast‑paced environment. **Required Education & Certifications:** - No specific degree mandated; relevant optical qualifications or certifications are advantageous.
