**Job Title**
Power Platform Application Developer
**Role Summary**
Lead the development and deployment of low‑code business applications using Microsoft Power Platform (Canvas apps, Model‑Driven apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents). Serve as a governance steward and Centre of Excellence (CoE) champion, ensuring secure, compliant, and scalable solutions that accelerate digital transformation and enable user‑driven innovation.
**Expectations**
- Deliver high‑quality, end‑to‑end Power Platform solutions that align with business strategy.
- Establish and maintain a CoE, promoting best practices, reusable components, and citizen development.
- Govern platform usage through the Power Platform Admin Centre, enforcing security, compliance, and lifecycle management.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to translate business requirements into functional, maintainable applications.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Canvas and Model‑Driven apps, Power Automate flows, and Power BI dashboards.
- Lead the creation and maintenance of reusable components, templates, and solution packs.
- Set up and manage environment permissions, security roles, and data access in Dataverse.
- Integrate Power Platform services with external API web services and Azure resources.
- Conduct knowledge transfer and training sessions for business users and citizen developers.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, create sprint backlogs, and track progress for timely delivery.
- Monitor solution performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of new Power Platform releases, Azure services, and AI technologies to propose enhancements.
**Required Skills**
- Proven experience with Canvas apps, Model‑Driven apps, and Power Automate.
- Hands‑on experience establishing and governing a Power Platform Centre of Excellence.
- Integration skills with REST/HTTP API web services.
- Proficiency with the Power Platform Admin Centre for environment and user management.
- Strong understanding of Dataverse, security roles, and solution lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration abilities.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Microsoft certifications such as PL‑100 (Power Platform App Maker), PL‑200 (Power Platform Functional Consultant), or PL‑600 (Power Platform Solutions Architect) are preferred but not mandatory.
