Job Title: Solution Architect
Role Summary:
Design and implement end‑to‑end satellite communication solutions that integrate mobile network technologies, OSS/BSS systems, and cloud/edge platforms. Align technical architecture with business objectives, ensuring compliance with industry security standards and operational efficiency.
Expectations:
* Deliver scalable, secure, and high‑availability satellite communication architectures.
* Drive continuous improvement by evaluating emerging technologies and legacy systems.
* Lead cross‑functional teams, coordinating with offshore delivery and customer‑facing experts.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead design and architecture of satellite communication services, ensuring compatibility with LTE, 5G, and other wireless standards.
2. Integrate OSS/BSS solutions for service provisioning, assurance, lifecycle management, and billing.
3. Architect and implement order management, CRM (Salesforce, Dynamics), and real‑time charging systems.
4. Design cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and edge computing solutions to support low‑latency, high‑availability operations.
5. Ensure secure system design: data encryption, secure transmission protocols, and compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, telecom regulations.
6. Evaluate and recommend upgrades or replacements for legacy infrastructure, aligning with eTOM/TMF frameworks.
7. Collaborate with offshore delivery teams to deliver solutions on schedule and within budget.
8. Provide technical leadership and mentorship across enterprise architecture teams.
Required Skills:
* 12‑15 years solution architecture experience in satellite or mobile communication systems.
* Proven expertise with OSS/BSS platforms (service provisioning, assurance, network management).
* Strong background in CRM systems (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics) and billing systems (real‑time charging, revenue management).
* Experience designing order management integration with provisioning.
* Deep knowledge of cloud architecture, edge computing, and enterprise strategy development.
* Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and leadership capabilities.
Required Education & Certifications:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field.
* Professional certifications in cloud platforms (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or GCP Professional Cloud Architect) preferred.
* Certifications related to OSS/BSS, eTOM/TMF, or telecommunications architecture (e.g., TMF Profession™ certification) are advantageous.
