**Job title**
Cybersecurity Studies Intern Engineer
**Role summary**
A 6‑month internship (Bac+5) on the Grand Paris Express project, supporting the role of Master‑of‑Work for system design and contract direction. The intern works within a cybersecurity engineering team to review and verify contractors’ technical proposals, ensure compliance with cybersecurity objectives, and oversee the implementation of security measures on industrial and IT systems.
**Expectations**
- Final‑year engineering student (Bac+5) specializing in networks, telecommunications, or cybersecurity.
- Ability to analyse complex technical documents and project requirements.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills; collaborates with contractors, technical leads, and project stakeholders.
- Open to travel (site visits) and holds a valid driving licence (B).
**Key responsibilities**
- Review and analyse contractors’ proposals to meet the security objectives of the Project Owner.
- Verify compliance of detailed technical specifications produced by contractors.
- Organise, conduct and validate test procedures for cybersecurity measures across industrial and IT systems.
- Liaise directly with contractors’ technical contacts and lead the cybersecurity process with all project stakeholders.
- Support system design, contract monitoring, and risk management within the project lifecycle.
**Required skills**
- Knowledge of telecom technologies (leased lines, MPLS, Internet, VPN/IPSec).
- Networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, interfaces, routing, ACLs, firewalls).
- Cybersecurity fundamentals (perimeter security, authentication, PKI, identity and access management, logging, traceability).
- Familiarity with industrial‑IT integration: hardware, software, protocols, HMI, machine‑to‑machine, building control, video, access control, radio communication, ticketing, and central systems.
- Analytical mindset, rigor, and ability to work collaboratively in complex project environments.
**Required education & certifications**
- Registered in the final year of an engineering program (Bac+5) with a focus on networks, telecommunications or cybersecurity.
- Valid driving licence (Category B) and willingness to travel.
- (Optional but advantageous) Professional certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, CISSP, or CISM.
