Job Description
**Job Title:** ENGINEERING ANALYST 1 **Role Summary:** Entry-level contract position supporting aerospace compliance and certification efforts by analyzing supplier technical data to ensure adherence to FAA and AS9100D standards for next-generation aircraft systems. **Expectations:** 6+ month contract term; requires demonstrated technical documentation experience and proficiency in data organization tools. **Key Responsibilities:** - Review and analyze electrical/electromechanical component supplier data sheets. - Extract, categorize, and standardize attributes (electrical performance, compliance metrics). - Develop and maintain databases for part traceability, conformity documentation, and Qualified Parts List (QPL) alignment. - Collaborate with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve documentation discrepancies. - Prepare documentation for Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), FAA reviews, and Supplemental Type Certificates (STC). - Ensure version control and compliance with AS9100D and FAA standards in document management practices. **Required Skills:** - Interpretation of technical specifications and data sheets. - Attention to detail in data entry and normalization. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar data tools. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical field. - 1–3 years’ experience in engineering, internships, or technical documentation roles.
