**Job Title**: Director of Security (Corporate Security Operations Center)
**Role Summary**
Lead the Corporate Security Operations Center (CSOC), overseeing the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of CSOC procedures, policies, and workflows. Act as the primary escalation point for critical incidents, collaborate with intelligence, technology, and emergency management teams, and develop enterprise-wide dashboards and intelligence frameworks to support proactive security and safety across the organization.

- Drive strategic CSOC capabilities that align with corporate safety objectives.
- Ensure real‑time incident response, data-driven decision making, and effective communication across a matrixed organization.
- Maintain regulatory compliance and risk assessments related to workplace safety and security.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design and enforce CSOC procedures, policies, and operational standards.
- Serve as escalation point for critical incidents and immediate action cases.
- Collaborate with Directors of Intelligence, Investigations, Security Technology, and Emergency Management on investigations, briefings, threat assessments, and crisis response.
- Develop and manage enterprise dashboards tracking workplace violence, drug diversion, dispatch activity, weapons detection, proximity alerts, crime risk, and media/social media data.
- Create and execute complex escalation workflows for security, violence, and emergency events.
- Oversee scheduling and deployment of armed security resources.
- Lead workforce accountability strategy during crises using mass‑notification technology.
- Conduct system risk assessments and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
**Required Skills**
- Leadership and people‑management experience (minimum 8 years in security dispatch/command center).
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, data analysis); strong skills in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
- Critical thinking, results‑orientation, and ability to multitask.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to coordinate across a highly matrixed organization.
- Knowledge of security operations, incident escalation, and data‑driven risk analysis.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree (required); Master’s preferred in Corporate Security, National Security, Criminal Justice, Law, Business Management, Emergency Management, or related field.
- Preferred membership in professional security organizations (ASIS International, IAHSS).
