Already one of the largest MGAs headquartered in the UK, responsible for managing around PS1bn gross written premium (GWP), we have a bold '2030 Vision' - to become a PS1.75bn GWP underwriting and distribution business and the leading MGA in the UK and wider EMEA region with the best products, people and culture. Job Description

**Job Title:** Assistant Cyber Underwriter **Role Summary:** Support the cyber underwriting team in evaluating and pricing cyber insurance policies, assisting brokers and clients, and contributing to product development and risk research. Maintain accurate underwriting documentation while building relationships and ensuring compliance with company guidelines. **Expectations:** - Demonstrate genuine interest in cyber risk and insurance. - Apply analytical skills to assess submissions and identify exposures. - Communicate complex risk concepts clearly to brokers and clients. - Proactively collaborate with team members and pursue continuous learning. - Adhere to UK work‑authorization requirements. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist in underwriting cyber insurance policies, including risk assessment and pricing. - Gather and analyse client information, loss histories, and cyber threat data. - Support broker and client interactions, providing tailored advice and solutions. - Research emerging cyber threats and assist in the development of new cyber products. - Ensure underwriting activities comply with internal guidelines and regulatory standards. - Maintain accurate records and documentation of all underwriting actions. **Required Skills:** - Basic knowledge of cyber threats, cyber security concepts, and risk management practices. - Strong analytical and quantitative assessment abilities. - Effective written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑moving team environment. - Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop underwriting expertise. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Minimum: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Risk Management, Cyber Security, or a related field. - Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CRISC, or underwriting qualifications) are advantageous but not mandatory.
