**Job Title:** Senior Staff Software Engineer **Role Summary:** Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of high‑performance fintech web applications using Angular and Ruby on Rails. Provide technical direction, mentor engineering teams, and drive best practices across the full stack while collaborating with product and design stakeholders. **Expectations:** - 5+ years of full‑stack development experience with Angular (v10+) and Ruby on Rails. - Proven track record in system architecture, micro‑services design, and technical leadership. - Ability to mentor junior engineers and influence engineering standards. - Strong communication and collaboration in Agile/Scrum environments. **Key Responsibilities:** - Architect, design, and implement scalable, secure web applications and backend services. - Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints. - Conduct code reviews, provide mentorship, and foster knowledge sharing. - Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and cross‑functional teams to align solutions with business goals. - Define and enforce coding standards, testing practices (TDD/BDD), and Agile processes. - Contribute to technology roadmaps and strategic architectural decisions. - Manage CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS cloud resources. **Required Skills:** - Angular (v10+) with component architecture, RxJS, NgRx/Redux. - Ruby on Rails, RESTful API design, GraphQL (preferred). - TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS. - PostgreSQL/MySQL, Active Record, query optimization. - AWS (Azure/GCP a plus), Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD. - Microservices, distributed systems, scalability principles. - TDD/BDD, unit and integration testing frameworks. - Agile/Scrum methodology. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. - No specific certifications required, though cloud or DevOps certifications are a plus.
