Job Description
**Job Title:** Systems Technician **Role Summary:** Designs, develops, installs, modifies, maintains, and repairs industrial electrical and electronic control systems. Troubleshoots complex equipment and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure operational efficiency. **Expectations:** - Work independently or with teams under general supervision. - Troubleshoot electrical systems and resolve equipment malfunctions promptly. - Adhere to safety protocols and document all work processes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Execute preventive maintenance and repair work orders to maintain equipment uptime. - Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and network components (EthernetIP, switches). - Interpret technical diagrams (P&IDs, wiring schematics) for diagnostics and repairs. - Install, modify, and maintain electrical components (wiring, conduits, switches, controllers). - Support plant shutdowns and emergency response, including after-hours interventions. - Collaborate with engineers, operators, contractors, and maintenance teams. **Required Skills:** - 10+ years’ experience with Allen Bradley PLCs, VFDs, Parker drives, and HMI modifications. - Proficiency in EthernetIP networking, PID tuning, and industrial power design (medium/low voltage, motor control). - Expertise in winding machine systems and reading technical documentation. - Strong electrical troubleshooting, communication (English), and safety hazard recognition. **Required Education & Certifications:** - High school diploma or equivalent. - No specific certifications required.
