**Job Title:** Automation and Digital Products Developer
**Role Summary:**
Technical lead responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining secure, scalable websites, digital products, and automation solutions. Works within an agile, cross‑functional team to deliver user‑centred, high‑performance digital experiences and process optimisation initiatives.
**Expectations:**
- Proven experience delivering web and automation projects.
- Strong understanding of accessibility, SEO, performance, and secure development.
- Ability to translate product and design requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Proactive in adopting new tools/technologies and continuous learning.
- Collaborative mindset, working with content, product, and operations teams.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead end‑to‑end technical delivery of websites, digital products, and automation initiatives.
- Build automation solutions (e.g., chatbots, intelligent routing, workflow optimisation) using low‑code/no‑code platforms or RPA.
- Implement and maintain accessibility, SEO, and performance best practices across the digital estate.
- Manage the technical lifecycle: monitoring, security updates, and scalability enhancements.
- Define and champion modern development practices, architecture standards, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Evaluate and introduce emerging tools, cloud services (e.g., Azure), and integration approaches.
- Support agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure alignment with product goals.
**Required Skills:**
- Modern web development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript and contemporary frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).
- Experience with content management systems (e.g., Kontent.AI) and SEO implementation.
- Automation expertise: low‑code/no‑code platforms, RPA tools, chatbot frameworks, or intelligent routing.
- Secure coding practices, data privacy, and risk management knowledge.
- Agile methodology experience; strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Desirable: mobile app development, cloud platforms (Azure), CI/CD pipelines, API design, data integration.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field **or** equivalent professional experience.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Developer, Azure Fundamentals, RPA certification) are advantageous but not mandatory.
