**Job title:** Senior SRE
**Role Summary:**
Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of a scalable, secure AWS‑based infrastructure for an AI‑powered tech architecture platform. Build and extend infrastructure‑as‑code, observability, and self‑service tooling to enable rapid, reliable delivery across the engineering organization.
**Expectations:**
- Own end‑to‑end cloud infrastructure for a high‑growth SaaS product.
- Deliver production‑ready, secure, and cost‑efficient solutions with minimal supervision.
- Communicate complex technical decisions clearly through documentation and dashboards.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Design, implement, and administer secure, scalable AWS environments (VPC, IAM, ECS/EKS, RDS, CloudWatch, etc.).
2. Create and maintain IaC code with Terraform, Pulumi, or AWS CDK, ensuring repeatable deployments.
3. Build observability pipelines (metrics, logs, traces) using Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, and CloudWatch; create custom dashboards.
4. Manage CI/CD pipelines, integrating security best practices and automated testing.
5. Produce architecture‑decision records, health reports, and infrastructure documentation.
6. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align infrastructure capabilities with evolving product needs.
**Required Skills:**
- 4+ years in SRE, DevOps, or Cloud Infrastructure roles with deep AWS expertise.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes (EKS) and associated networking, IAM, and security concepts.
- Advanced knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability (Splunk preferred).
- Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Pulumi, AWS CDK).
- Strong analytical skills to assess traffic patterns and recommend architectural changes.
- Proven ability to own and operate production infrastructure in fast‑paced startups or SaaS environments.
- Adept at CI/CD, DevSecOps, and cloud security best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self‑starter mindset, thriving in early‑stage, low‑structure settings.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (not strictly required but preferred). Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator are highly desirable.
