**Job Title:** AWS DevOps Cloud Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and secure AWS infrastructure for a PKIaaS platform. Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment pipelines using IaC, manage containerized workloads, monitor system performance, and implement security best practices to ensure high availability and reliability of cloud services.
**Expectations:**
Deliver robust, automated cloud solutions that support rapid iteration and continuous delivery. Maintain uptime, optimize costs, enforce security compliance, and collaborate cross‑functionally to improve application performance and deployment consistency.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Architect and provision AWS resources (EC2, VPC, RDS, ECS, Lambda, S3) with Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab CI/CD, Bitbucket Pipelines, or GitHub Actions.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
- Deploy and manage Docker containers and orchestrate with Amazon ECS/EKS, Rancher, or Kubernetes.
- Monitor, log, and alert with CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and related tools.
- Implement IAM policies, secrets management, and audit logging for security.
- Collaborate with development teams on performance tuning and deployment strategies (blue/green, canary, rolling).
- Participate in on‑call rotations, production incident response, and post‑mortem analysis.
- Contribute to disaster‑recovery plans, backups, and failover mechanisms.
- Produce clear documentation for infrastructure, workflows, and troubleshooting.
**Required Skills:**
- 4+ years in DevOps/Cloud Engineering/SRE.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS core services: EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS.
- Proficiency in IaC: Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation, or CDK.
- CI/CD pipeline expertise (GitLab, Bitbucket, GitHub Actions) and deployment strategies.
- Containerization (Docker) and orchestration (ECS, EKS, Kubernetes).
- Scripting in TypeScript/Node, Python, Bash, or Go.
- Networking fundamentals, load balancing, DNS, and security fundamentals.
- Monitoring, logging, and alerting systems knowledge.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Exposure to PKI, TLS/SSL, or related technologies is a plus.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- AWS Cloud Practitioner and/or AWS Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) preferred.
