**Job Title**: Senior Automation Engineer (M/F)
**Role Summary**
Design, develop, and support industrial automation solutions for machine building projects. Lead functional analysis, programming of PLCs, supervision, and integration of new technology while coordinating cross‑functional teams and providing client support before, during, and after deployment.
**Expactations**
- Minimum 5 years of experience in machine automation.
- Proficiency with industrial control languages (Structured Text, C++), motion control, safety, and robotics.
- B2 or higher English for client interaction.
- Willingness to travel abroad up to 20 % of working time.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and teamwork skills.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Interpret client specifications and develop functional requirements.
- Assemble and extend existing PLC programs; manage supervision using B&R, Rockwell, Siemens, etc.
- Coordinate technical teams (calculations, prototyping, testing) to validate solutions.
- Install machines on-site, conduct acceptance tests, and troubleshoot issues.
- Create machine documentation, knowledge‑base notices, and user manuals.
- Train clients on machine operation at production sites worldwide.
- Provide post‑delivery support and continuously improve standard program libraries.
**Required Skills**
- PLC programming in Structured Text, C++ (or equivalent).
- Motion control, safety, and robotic integration.
- Use of major PLC platforms (B&R, Rockwell, Siemens).
- Systematic function analysis and requirements definition.
- Strong communication, documentation, and training abilities.

**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Industrial Control, or related field.
- Additional certifications in PLC programming, motion control, or industrial safety are advantageous.
