**Job Title:** Data Analytics Internship - Summer 2026 **Role Summary:** Full‑time, paid summer internship (June 1 – August 21 2026) providing hands‑on experience in data analytics within a health insurance organization. Interns follow an individual work plan, receive mentorship, and rotate through cross‑functional sessions to understand departmental operations. **Expectations:** - Demonstrate professional workplace behavior, punctuality, and appropriate appearance. - Adhere to company policies and ethical standards. - Show initiative, coachability, and a strong work ethic. - Communicate effectively in written and verbal formats. - Collaborate with team members, mentors, and leaders. **Key Responsibilities:** - Support department staff with general tasks and data‑related projects per the work plan. - Learn and apply organizational processes and procedures. - Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. - Participate in cross‑functional meetings and informational sessions to gain departmental insights. - Perform basic issue resolution; escalate complex problems to senior staff. - Complete additional duties assigned by mentor or leader. **Required Skills:** - Strong written and verbal communication. - High attention to detail and organizational ability. - Ability to work proactively in a team environment. - Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Basic analytical/problem‑solving aptitude. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a post‑secondary program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. - Equivalent combination of education, experience, or training may be considered if approved by HR.
